Tour Details

As it begins from Mumbai earlier it was known as Bombay and is the largest and most populous city in India. Mumbai is the most modern city and home to Bollywood (Indian Film Industry). Visit Mani Bhawan from here Gandhi had initiated many freedom movements and there is a museum and library. Then visit Prince of Wales museum now known as The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, Gateway of India, also visit the famous Elephanta Caves situated in the Elephanta Island. A drive on the famous Marine Drive which is six-lane road along the coast would be enjoyable.

Take a flight from Mumbai to Nagpur and then drive towards Tadoba National Park which is the oldest and the largest National Park. The park lies in the Chandrapur district of Indian state Maharashtra and here you will enjoy morning and evening game drives in the park to explore the flora and fauna.

Pench National Park is located in southern tip of the Satpura Ranges of Central India. The name of the park derives from Pench River which divides the park into two forms of lifeline of the park. The best way to explore the flora and fauna of the park is through morning and evening game drives which you will be doing.

Fly back to Mumbai from Nagpur and do some shopping in Mumbai at the end.

  • DAY 01 - Mumbai

    Arrive Mumbai and transfer to hotel; rest of the day is free

    Arrive at the international airport of Mumbai. After a traditional 'Swagat' (Welcome) our KVT’s representative would assist you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. Rest of the day is free to relax.

  • DAY 02 - Mumbai

    Mumbai Sightseeing, evening free to explore

    This morning we will explore Mumbai visiting Mani Bhawan; Gandhi initiated the Non-Cooperation, Satyagraha, Swadeshi, Khadi and Khilafat movements here. Later we visit Prince of Wales also known as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, is one of the premier art and history museums in India. We also visit Gateway of India, Mumbai's most famous monument. Then visit Elephanta Caves nestle in the Elephanta Island, the island is named after a large elephant found in the island, it is also known as Gharapuri. The island can be reached by a ferry from the Gateway of India (the cave remains closed on Monday). Later we will experience a drive on famous road named as Marine drive.

  • DAY 03 - Tadoba

    Fly to Nagpur, arrive Nagpur airport and drive to Tadoba National Park

    Morning after breakfast we will be transferred to Mumbai airport to catch the flight to Nagpur, upon arrival we drive by surface from Nagpur to Tadoba National Park (Distance: 160km appx). Tadoba Tiger Reserve is a Tiger reserves in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra state in Central India. It is Maharashtra's oldest and largest National Park. It is one of India's 41 "Project Tiger" - Tiger reserves. Note: The Park remains closed on every Tuesday for Safari.

  • DAY 04 - Tadoba

    Morning and evening game drives

    This day we will take 2 game drives into the park, trying to find elusive tiger. We wake up early morning and leave for our 1st safari into the National Park. Track the tigers and other wildlife through the morning. Return to the hotel for breakfast after finishing the safari and relax. We have a break during the heat of the day before our second drive in the afternoon.

  • DAY 05 - Tadoba

    Morning and evening game drives

    Today, we will again take 2 game drives into the park, in search of the elusive tiger and to explore more wild life.

  • DAY 06 - Pench

    Drive to Pench national park, reach in the afternoon and evening free

    Morning after breakfast we drive from Tadoba National Park to Pench National Park (Distance: 270Km appx). The name originated from the Pench River that flows through the National park. Tiger is the main cat species of the park present in good numbers but sighted infrequently. Commonly seen wildlife is chital, sambhar, nilgai, wild boar, and jackal. Other wild animals found are leopard, sloth bear, wild dog, porcupine, jungle cat, fox, striped hyena, gaur, chowsingha and barking deer. There are more than 170 species of birds including several migratory ones. Some of them are peafowl, junglefowl, crow pheasant, crimson-breasted barbet, red-vented bulbul, racket-tailed drongo, magpie robin, lesser whistling teal, pintail, shoveler, egret and herons. Arrive & Check-in at hotel. Evening is free to explore on your own. Note: The Park remains closed for Afternoon safari on every Wednesday.

    Morning and evening game drives

    We will take 2 game drives into the park, trying to find elusive tiger. We wake up early morning and leave for our 1st safari into the National Park.
